I have four carved wood boxes sitting on the window shelf of Neal, Strider, Bud and Lassie. I was going to scatter the ashes at my seasonal site by the lake, one of their favorite places. I just couldn't do it yet, not ready.
I don't know why it's so hard to let go, I know there not there.
I understand it such a personal / and tough decision. However, it's only you who will know when the time is right, or if you will ever decide to spread their ashes.
OK, now you're starting to get me all choked up. Better start think "Happy Thoughts, Happy Thoughts". ... :)

I realize you ALWAYS have your "kids" along with you - in my case, Ike and Jack are on my bedroom dresser, but when we travel, their collars come along. I know that sounds silly and I wouldn't even admit that to anyone other than this group... but somehow it seems "right".
We know they are always with us, but still, it's like taking them with you on your trips. Always riding along with you!
The urns are behind the front pass seat. When walking out of the coach. I'll give each urn a pat, as well as wipe whatever dust is on them. I like to think it might give them a pause while they're playing, sorta thing. ... :)

I miss the adventures of Harlee and Calvin.
I do too, I remember when Harley passed away and I was heartbroken and my heart ached for Pops and Calvin but he gave them such a good life and now they are together.

Thanks, Sher! I think they're the one's who gave me a great life, and good times!
What makes me smile, is thinking of them playing, and sniffing the flowers! Just enjoying themselves, no more worries! ... :)
