Update on BenBen- still has more time in him

Good, good news! He's such a fighter!
I was reading on a Pomeranian forum this morning, a lady that has one is fighting lymphoma and her vet told her they have a new chemo that supposedly is to be released very soon that will give dogs years instead of months.
I don't know if this is even true or if it is applicable to BenBen's situation.
But we can all hope that something like this comes along.
Too many dogs lost to quickly to this horrible disease.

Well, BenBen is gong to hang around a bit longer. His ultrasound today shows nothing except that he does not have a spleen. It is the cancer, but he is improved with his liver functions coming down and RBC increased. He got some chemo today because he has shown response and I think we are getting a bit more quality time with him. Onward to the roller coaster ride!! Glad to have a few more weeks or a month or so with him feeling better.
