Update on My Macy

Well, as I had posted several weeks ago My Macy had been acting like she was hurting while trying to run. I had her at the vet for a quick visit back then and the could not find anything wrong. She has been back to her self running around so I guess she just had a couple of bad days.

So, today was the day for her BIG Check up. All of her blood work came back great and the vet said that for a almost 9 year old pup she is in great shape. Needless to say I am very relived.

Tomorrow is her little sister Sandi's turn to go. My Wife has never been able to go to the vet with me due to her work hours but tomorrow she is off, so she will finally see what I go through with Little Sandi. Last time she needed blood drawn it took two Vet Techs, The Vet and me to hold her. I swear she looked like she was in a knife fight with all of the blood on her. With my luck she will be perfect and never flinch tomorrow because "Mommy" is there.

    Just like human kids--they know who they can get away with what. :-) Glad to hear Macy is all right!

    Glad Macy's okay! Yup, dogs know who's in charge, for sure. My dogs never move when DH gets up in the morning (even if he tells them to get up and go out with him), but when I simply start stirring, three excited dogs start circling the bed - lol! Of course, I'm the one who feeds them, lets them in/out repeatedly during the day, etc....

    OK, here is my final update in Macy and Little Sandi.

    Macy had her FULL Geriatric blood work, which all came back great! Little Sandi had her yearly check up also.

    So, after spending $640.00 both Pups have a clean bill of Health and a six month supply if Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatments. Money well spent to make sure that My Girls are in good Health.
