I know there is a lot of abusive owners but I have not ran into a rescue yet that I can deal with that is reasonable & uses common sense. Our Boxer Sadie is sitting next to me right now as I sit here on the computer....... a vets word should pull a lot a weight but does not seem to with a lot of rescues..... WE have been going to ours for over 20 years & are on a first name basis. I can't imagine a rescue with 10-20 dogs wouldn't have a fit.
I hate to see dogs sit at rescues but we will get another Boxer from a breeder when the time comes....hopefully no time soon but Sadie is seven.... seems like any excuse will do to not place a dog.........
I am sorry but it is just my observations & feelings about this issue.
