Well I have always been concerned about the price of fuel because that takes away from the budget for restaurants, attractions, general local spending money wherever we are. Money spent locally goes into the local economies much more efficiently than money spent on fuel. I don't feel like I am poor but being retired and on fixed incomes we don't feel money rich either. What I don't spend on fuel we can enjoy elsewhere!!!
