We're back at it!

Much has changed in the lives of Molly and Sabbath! I had lost my DH to brain cancer almost 5 years ago, and sold my TT and truck 2 years later. This past summer we got married to a wonderful man who loves the pups as much as I do, and he is an avid camper.

We tent camped all summer, which for 2 good sized lab mixes was interesting! However, at our age we opted for more comfort, hence a new Open Range TT, with plenty of room for Molly and Sabbath to enjoy the comforts of home!

We won't get to use it until spring, but suffice to say we can't wait! Since Molly and Sabbath are always up for an adventure, it's all good! Fortunately Sabbath got past his car-sickness, lol!
  • Candice - I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your DH but happy to hear that you have married a wonderful man that not only loves your "kids" but also has a love of your lifestyle! Good for you. That's a true measure of a man - one that loves dogs (or any animal) and camping! All of you enjoy the new life and TT. Is your TT the one with the higher ceilings?
  • Candice! What a wonderful update! Welcome back! I can't believe it's been that long since your DH passed, I remember it so clearly. I'm delighted that your life has taken this happy turn and you're back to camping. How are your boys? We'll be looking forward to trip reports. Best of luck to you all.
  • Congrats! You remind me of the song "I Hope You Dance" by LeeAnn Womack.
  • Thanks everyone for the good wishes! Yes, the Open Range has a crowned roof, and a relatively high ceiling. Very homey, even though we've got the light model!

Judy, my boys are doing great! My youngest son, 21, was certainly a challenge when Bill died, and he wasn't particularly on board when Steve and I decided to get married, but now he realizes he has a good friend, not someone trying to be his dad. He has certainly missed that male figure in his life... He lives with us, and the three of us actually spend time together, lol! I feel very blessed!
