I tell my dogs if they don't like the food I buy them, they can start doing the grocery shopping. I've also suggested that if they're bored all day while I work, they can clean the house. So far, they just look at me from their couch in the air conditioned room and laugh.
Just be grateful Calvin isn't a bird. Then you'd get the "you're trying to kill me with this crap" screech!
