I treat mine like Morris the cat who is finicky, don't feed them for a day and see the finicky part disappear. However my Feist squirrel dog gets special food or she will go on strike and not hunt. The three Chihuahuas get special food too or they would gnaw our ankles off, the other 4 outside yard /watch dogs don't care what it is they will eat it, including a trespasser :)
