Not sure if it was on FrontLine or other brand, but it said no baths four days before or after application.
So yes, the swimming would have an affect.
The flyer that comes with Advantix ll states it is waterproof.
It says "it is waterproof and remains effective following a shampoo treatment, swimming or after exposure to rain or sunlight".
It does not state anywhere that you had to reframe from swimming or shampooing before or after application.
We gave up on Frontline a long time ago as it seemed to attract fleas to our dogs.
