What Movies, and or Programs Are Difficult to Watch?

I've never seen Bambi or Old Yeller, and don't know if I'll see A Dog's Purpose. I know they're just movies, but I still don't want to see them. I use to watch Animal Cops... cried every time. The Will Smith movie, I Am Legend, was sad too. Agnes

Any Disney animal movie, i.e., Bambi, Old Yeller, the Lion King, the Fox and the Hound, etc., etc., etc.

These movies made such a terrible impression on me as a child I never allowed my children to see them. I mean, Bambi pretty much opens up with her mom getting shot. I never got over that.

I don't understand why children's movies can't all be good, happy, etc. Don't tell me it's just life. Three and four year olds don't need to learn that at that age.

I once complained to the literature teachers at school about the required reading books. My one teacher friend said she didn't have any books like that on her reading list. Score. Plenty of other material out there.
