I was raised around dogs all my life.
After getting married we had a dog for 13 years.
Then another dog (pug) for 10 years, when she past away we both said "NO MORE DOGS"
As much as we love dogs this was a wise and smart decision for both of us.
When we started camping after her passing,it was hard as we did love her.
But, the problems with haveing a dog are far outweighed by the "not's"
If we take a plane somewhere we don't have to find a kennel or someone to watch her.
No more trying to find a vet when the animal gets sick (They will get sick at times) while on the road!
I think with the answers everyone has put in should help the two of you with your decision.
