I agree with you. I have nothing against dogs or any animal but I see people who have them having large restrictions on their freedoms with the dog always making them go home early, have to stay home because there is a storm coming and dog does not like it, have to go home and take the dog out, have to get up early to take the dog out, can't stay overnight because of the dog, can't go away all day or on the day cruise because can't leave the dog that long. If you can let your world revolve around your dog go for it, you need to be dedicated to your animal, if you cannot do not get one especially if you are not in agreement with your wife. You will come to regret the dog.
