It is not even absolutely necessary to bring vaccination documents for your dog or cat when entering the United States from overseas. If you dont have one they will let you put your pet in Quarantine in a place of your choosing which is allowed to be your HOME.
I don't see what Yuma is so fussed about. What about the stray or lost dog that simply wanders into town? is he carrying his documents?
If I move there I can take my sweet time getting to the dog license place????
This seems crazy. I would just go somewhere else.
And NO I do not think we should just acquiesce to stupid useless and intrusive laws. We have way too many of those already. For instance it's illegal to sell cars or vehicles of any kind in North Dakota on a Sunday!
