Most people refer to the RV battery DC supply as 12volt, but in reality, it is rarely 12v. When plugged into shore power the 12v supply is anywhere from 13.2v to 14.4v, and sometimes more. When running down the road it is close to 14v. When off the grid it will be 12.6v to about 12.1v unless your battery is discharged more than it should be.
A 14v TV should work just fine, and have less chance of being damaged by too high voltage.
