250' og RG-6
If we are going to have satellite tv (DIRECTV SD) at the camp we will have a 250' run of cable. I like my trees better than tv. Doing a little googling I see a distribution amplifier is recommended...

FWIW, I have 300 feet of RG6 between my dish and the receiver at my S&B. Still get >90 signal strength without any signal amplification, etc. I do use triple-shield cable - by Mediabridge from Amazon. ST
