250' og RG-6
If we are going to have satellite tv (DIRECTV SD) at the camp we will have a 250' run of cable. I like my trees better than tv. Doing a little googling I see a distribution amplifier is recommended...

I recommend quality grade compression type connectors (Belden for example), versus the crimp-on type. the connector used needs to match the layers of shielding, I think due to the thickness of the layers.
