I suggest that the OP read up on the limits of any Ethernet cable. It's more than attenuation, it's packet collisions that can easily happen depending on the terminal equipment, been there, done it, and once you hit the collision point the thruput can drop to dialup or just dead. Is there a reason not to just go RF and not deal with the cable issues?
