I found that post late last night after my original post here. That soultuion is on my short list...
Only hesitancy was lack of positive reviews of that meter, although I liked what I was on the youtube vids.
I suspect that yours is still working fine aligning your Slimline dish while on the road. Any quirks or reason to think of a different solution for peaking your dish?
Thanks so much for this response. I have a good leveling capable tripod setup. I downloaded the dishpro app to be able to sight through the trees, and that will be invaluable. I have the tools and knowledge to make my own cables. Now I only need a way to peak the signal. I suspect that by next spring I will have it all down to an art form... but the meter is the key for now.
