More....after seeing the replies to my original post I noticed that one person asked if you had to have the receiver hooked up to use the meter. The answer for SWM is yes, but only because you need the 21V to power the LNB. I rigged up another power inserter and use it to power the LNB rarely. Normally I just leave everything in the rig hooked up and ready to go. It's a simple matter to then hook up my one cable to the supplied splitter to use the meter. I have also used this meter for my buddies Dish setup. On Dish you don't need anything because the meter will power the LNB.
