I have not done any kind of extensive testing on that however I did switch it between car and RV on a couple of routes. Today for example while driving from Iowa to Chicago the car route had me traveling on I-88 which has quite a few slow construction zones. When I switched it over to RV profile it had me get off of I-88 before the construction zones and take Highway 30 and then back on I-88 as I approached the western suburbs of Chicago. The car mode did not have me take that Diversion. The diversion was about 7 minutes in penalty.
