I believe Mandalay is on the right track.
The
USER GUIDE even says Home Theater System on it. That basically means it has the Amplifier built in as well as possibly AM/FM radio.
If you shop for just a 'DVD' player, you will not find what you are looking for.
Shop for a Home Theater System instead. Maybe print out that User Guide and take to a store with you to show a salesperson what you are needing to replace.
The main issue may be that most Home Theater Systems will probably come with Speakers also, that you many not need. But you can probably find somthing for ~$200, It's been a while since i shopped them, so I could be off on those prices.
