Alrighty, now I've got a new problem with my network

I think it's bigger than the browser. Have you tried an external (usb) adapter yet? It could be a lot of things that have nothing directly to do with the phone. It could be a corrupt file that's not accessed very often. It might be worth running a thorough diagnostics on your computer if you haven't done that yet. On Dells, the "F12" button at boot up will get you to that menu. Don't know about other brands.
