Understood, but it looked like the antenna element was designed for remote mounting, and thought it would not be hard to mount on an RV.

I am amazed at the dearth of AM stuff from C.Crane- they used to have the Select-a-tenna, along with numerous AM antennas.
Actually, I always like the early '70's Delco radios- in the '80's I would get them from junkyards to use- did a lot of late night driving, and they would pull in stations like magic :P
