Amazon Kindle on Samsung Galaxy S5 phone

Question

I have a Amazon Prime account and get books downloaded to my PC and my Samsung Tablet and they both show up as devices on Amazon. But now with my new Galaxy S5 phone it doesn't show up on Amazon. I have tried everything to get the phone to show up on the devices on Amazon. I have the Kindle app and Amazon account on the phone but they don't show my account. I have searched many hours on Google and Amazon. Any help for this?

Not sure what is wrong,  but just FYI, I do have the amazon Kindle app on my galaxy s5 and I am able to see all the books on my amazon account.  The account settings are right with the app

Yep, just download the Kindle app to your S5.  At least that's the way it works on my S4 which I will replace with an S5 in about 2 weeks (upgrade time!).

Is there a "device limit", aka how many devices are you allowed to have on your account ?i think with video you are allowed to down load to only TWO devicesdon't know about Kindle format books

I am going to ask a simple question. Have you opened/launched the Kindle app on the new phone and logged into your Amazon account using the Kindle app by tapping the Kindle app home button and then scrolled down to settings and "registered the device"?
