Dutch, will the Hopper work as a single tuner receiver with the legacy LNB while traveling? My 222 is limited to only one sat with the roof top crank-up dish, and this is fine for overnight or two day stops. When parked for the season and connected to a Dish1000 on the tripod will it function as the multi-channel DVR that it is supposed to be(although with only mirroring capabilities to TV2)?
My crank-up rooftop dish works fine with my VIP211k, but not with my Hopper 2 so far. I use a tripod mounted 1000.4 with interchangeable eastern and western arc LNBF's for both receivers most of the time. Sometime I'm going to try connecting just one of my DPP LNBF's without aiming it, and connecting the rooftop dish to the port 4 input as if it was a wing dish. I don't know if that will work without it seeing any other sats though.
