another WINDOWS 10 MS OFFICE 2016 question

Question

When trying to view or print an email attachment (.DOC format), using MS WORD 2016, I get the following message on my screen.. works fine for all other documents in MS Word format but not an email attachment.. ideas??

Try saving the attachment to your desktop and then opening it in word. I've had to do that with attachments i received in my mail.

I'd agree. Download the .doc file and open in Word. Don't preview in your email (Outlook?).
