Antenna/Cable jack connections

I hope this makes sense:

My new to me trailer (2006 Dutchman Toy Hauler) originally had a TV in the back corner on a shelf (which I will most likely never use). There is a single cable jack there that is not labeled. The previous owner put a flat screen TV mount above the fridge which is a better spot but there is no cable/antenna jack there.

At the front of the 5th wheel In the Bedroom is a single jack with push button switch to turn the antenna on and off. This jack also has a 12v plug. I pulled it off the wall and on the back is three cable attachments labeled "Cable", "Antenna" and "Set 2". I want to run cable to the location of the new tv above the fridge. Is the spot that says "Set 2" an outgoing line that goes to the Cable jack in the back corner? Does switching the antenna on change both jacks from cable to antenna?

If this is the case then could I unplug the "Set 2" cable from the back of the jack and run a new line from there to the TV above the fridge? (I can run it through the back of some cabinets so it would be hidden except for about 2 feet that would show in the bathroom)

Thanks for the help, we are looking forward to making this trailer our own!
  • Thanks for the quick answers, amazing how such a wordy question can be answered with such a short reply!
  • You could also add a splitter to that coax line and provide TV or Cable to all TV's you want to wire in. If there is a coax port on the front of that plate along with the cigarette lighter port, that can be run to a TV as well.
