It really depends on your experience and your habits.
If you are aware of how to spot bad emails and smart enough to know not to follow links in them and not to download bad files, then you are in pretty good shape. Likewise, if your web browsing is pretty much restricted to a small number of commonly visited sites, again, good shape. Then you're going to be fine with ME.
But if you don't know to spot the difference between bad and good in your email, and if you wander about the web with abandon, then get something with better protection.
