antivirus programs
Is there a good FREE antivirus program you'd recommend?

I've had free AVG version on two PC's for the last ??? years. To my 'tech dumb' self, I've never had a virus that I know about, and have no issues with banks or email or anything else.
I do know occasionally, I get an AVG pop-up telling me it just blocked a threat. And, altho it runs by itself, I do occasionally run a scan, and always find nothing ... the little pop-up screen on the scan also tells me how many 'threats' it's blocked since the last scan.
And, I also get pop prompts to buy the updates -- but I just ignore it. I also double back-up everything important. So, if it ain't broke, I ain't fixing it ...
