Any hints on using a regular router with a Ubiquiti Bullet?

My WifiRanger router wifi failed - still works with RJ45 patch cables. The Bullet still works and does a great job of pulling in weak wifi. Anywho, I'd like to replace the router with a WRT54G I ha...

The generic Ubiquity should work with any modern router into the Internet port. If A WFR version there may be issues without the GO/GO2 etc.
I honestly don't know the answer to that. There was nothing on the exterior of the Bullet that said it was specific to the Ranger but it might have a special firmware load. This was from ancient times - pre Go/GO2 (5 years ago).
