The Bullet is operating in router mode. I might be wrong, but I don't think there's any security between it and my router AP.
As an experiment, I'll change the password in the Bullet for my test network and see if it still logs in or if the PC is doing security.
there is AP Access Point Mode, Station Mode. this is not the same thing as Router, bridge mode.
You are in station mode, this is shown on the main tab on the bullet.
Your question was why can't i change security settings on the bullet, this is because your security has to match what the campground or wherever your getting your internet from. Your linksys is what YOU connect to, and is in Access Point mode. here is where you can configure your security settings.
