Anybody have an Android phone and Windows 8.1 computer?

So I got a new computer, and it came with 8.1. I go to connect up my phone, to back up my photos on google drive (google app doesn't let me do that straight from phone). But, lo! Windows takes ...

If you are trying to upload to Google Drive online try these.

You can use Google Photos on your phone to upload to the Google Photo web site, this is free with unlimited online storage. You can then access the photos with your computer.

Or you can use AutoSync for Google Drive and choose what folders you want to upload to Google Drive.
Then use the Google Drive program on your computer to download those folders.

If you are trying to upload directly to the computer I don't know.
