Anybody have an Android phone and Windows 8.1 computer?

So I got a new computer, and it came with 8.1. I go to connect up my phone, to back up my photos on google drive (google app doesn't let me do that straight from phone). But, lo! Windows takes ...

In case you still can't get your photos backed up, there are alternatives. For instance, you can use Dropbox and have it automatically backup photos and videos from your phone. There's also apps that will allow you to transfer your photos by either wifi or Bluetooth.

Personally, I haven't used a USB cable to connect my phone to my computer in about 2 years.

BTW, what phone are you using?
