I have been using an iPad for about two years. I mostly like it but there are things I don't like. Hate having the only default browser you can use is Safari, because it's not what I use. Hate the refusal of putting numerals with the regular keyboard. What a giant PITA! No GPS on the non cellular iPad. Stupid me thought there was before I purchased. No USB or flash ports, but I knew that going in. Learning curve is pretty easy and updates are few and easy. Probably jump ship when this one dies, probably live longer than me though. LOL
There are several browsers out there that work on the iPad. I use Dolphin and Chrome, and I just read an article that Firefox is preparing a browser for the IOS operating system.
I use Mercury. The big plus is you can enlarge youR web page print by % and it stays there forever unless you change it. Safari and chrome you have to do the double tab trick every time and it mostly to large for the screen.
