Dark Sky is the best minute weather forecasting app available period. Its not available on Android. Not trying to get in a peeing contest but just pointing out that it goes both ways on platform app availability.
You can get Dark Sky for free on iOS and possibly Android also. Just go to their weather service homepage and then add to home screen option on your phone. They have a mobile version.
I'm not talking about the app. The app is 3.99 which I did not pay. They have a mobile version of their webpage at forecast.io (that's who powers the dark sky app), then you add that mobile page to your home screen. No paying and you get nearly the same as the app. I don't have an android device to try that. BUT, anyone can just get the same at their website, it looks the same.
That is a fantastic piece of information. Thanks for the tip. A lot of the information is the same. The Dark Sky app has saved my bacon on more than one occasion by getting out of a store or to take shelter while at a theme park before the weather actually hit.
Pretty slick either way.
Thanks!
