Anyone make a HD portable antenna to get directv

I was thinking of purchasing a portable satellite antenna that receives directv on HD. The ones I am looking at buying are the Winegard G2 or the King Flex. But I am unwilling to purchase one for aro...

My thinking is to abandon the thought, no matter how easy the G2 is to set up, and continue to use my Slimline 3.

It seems a shame that someone does not come up with a method of converting whatever Directv does and to make a dish HD capable like a slimline 3 with a G2.
