Janice,
I did get SinglePoint.
There was an issue in accessing my work VPN. I work from my MH.
Support finally did get that working and I am using it now.
I did not have any issue with normal internet (although we don't do streaming or gaming) just VPN access for my employer. That though was important.
It ended up being a firmware upgrade needed. Once that was applied I could easily access my work VPN.
I went with a single SIM and that is Verizon. Thus far I have been working from the MH for 13 days and travelled over 1000 miles. I did not expericence any loss of service on my route.
I have a week scheduled in San Saba TX where I don't think there is any Verizon service. The CG has supposedly good WiFi but we will see.
I used the Verizon coverage map to anticipate low service at the locations I intend to stay.
The monthly per/gig service fees from SinglePoint are competitive with direct from Verizon.
I just have the unit on a shelf plugged into a outllet my inverter services while travelling. I leave it there while on shore power. There is an optional 12v power connector available which I have but have not used as of yet.
I have it right in the front of our rig and have no problem getting signal anywhere in the 40 foot rig or outside.
I was prepared to screw it down (there is the ability to do that) but thus far I have not found it neceessary. I have it sitting on a piece of shelf liner.
I did not get the optional control software which allows me to monitor the usage. I will determine soon whether I need that or not.
Anything more information I can relay?
