Thanks for your feedback. What external antenna did you go with? Any tips or tricks for the routing of the coax?
I went with the pricey Panorama 5 in 1 MIMO antenna. It's low profile and important for a fiberglass roof, does not require a ground plane, it has one built in.
I mounted on top of my fridge vent which was perfect because I ran the wire down the fridge plenum. Just had to drill 3/4" hole in fridge vent, works great.
I may end up using the other 3 elements (wifi and gps) if I get a Peplink or Cradlepoint router. - 1492ModeratorYes, I'm using the 4-antenna version of this 4G LTE router using a T-Mobile SIM card. Working great. No issues at all. Besides WiFi, has four Ethernet connections which I use for a PC and Blu-Ray streaming player.

I currently use a WiFi Ranger with a AC791L jetpack and a external MIMO antenna. I highly recommend an external antenna setup, mine consistently gets 10 db better signal on the antenna.

Thanks in advance. - jharrellExplorerI am not, but from what I have heard it a decent piece of hardware with extremely buggy software.
It a rebranded Chinese router with some software mods, that can be had for much less if your so inclined: http://www.zbtlink.com/products/router/ZBT-WE826T.html

I am probably going over to a Peplink or Cradlepoint LTE router once Peplink releases their CAT6 versions.
