Anyone Using WeMo and/or Amazon Echo in their RV?

I have these both in my home and am very familiar with how they work just wondering how they would work with constant power on and power off. We show horses and many times it's a show every weekend sometimes just for the day. I, wondering how wemo and/or echo would handle this? Would they power up and be functional each time or would it be a headache?

    We have an Echo dot in the RV. It's out alarm clock and weather station mostly. The reason I chose to move the dot into the camper is it will run on 12v so I just installed a USB adapter close. I've got some WeMo devices at home but nothing in the camper as if yet.

    The echo speakers do not have GPS so they don't follow your location. You can manually update it using the companion app or website.

    I have an echo dot in my camper and use it mainly for music, news updates, etc. With a small portable USB power bank Alexa can sit by the fire or on the picnic table, it is very handy.

    We use both in our RV for about 6 months now. We have not had any serious problems. Ocassionally, our MiFi will lock up on us, but we have had problems prior to using the Echo and Wemo. I think it is a known issue with our MiFi. I do prefer using TP Link plugs over our Wemo as they seem to be less picky when ed n resetting them over the Wemo.
