If all you do is primarily internet applications, why not consider an I-pad or a Notebook. Range is between $250 and $450 depending on where you get it.
I've been a PC man all my life. I'm typing on a Laptop right now. But when considering another computer, we ended up getting an I-pad and it's worked out great. Very portable, and wonderful for Internet applications. I still use the laptop for saving photos off our camera and for Excel and Word.
In a lot of ways, the Laptop is easier for me, but the portability of the I-pad is fantastic. And my wife and I finding really unique situations where it comes in much more handy than the laptop.
