Apple vs PC

A short answer is all I need, is spending 2 or $300 more for a Mac worth it?? The old Sony is gasping for its last breath. we mainly surf the net, read emails, and all the advertisments pop up, and that This is an example of the problems I continually have when typing, somehow the computer backtracks,(that) and I'm sick of it. THANKS

When I asked my professional computer daughter the same question? Her response was tactful but direct said "Dad, the difference between a Mac vs a PC is that the Mac operates intuitively like the human brain! The PC is not intuitive! "the PC unlike the Mac is not based on consumer friendly operation:)
Or, to say this in another way, "Dad you would find the PC too computer challenging and frustrating":)
Or, Apple's tech support and warranty support is outstanding 7/24!
Or, The Mac takes 2 actions or steps VS 5 or 6 actions/commands to get the same job done.
Or, in 15 years I have never had or experienced a virus using my Mac Book Pro
  • If you can find similarly equipped Apple and PC for $300 more you should jump on the Apple! Generally the difference is closer to $1000 which is the #1 reason I have not jumped ship (and I like my PC!).
