Are there any OEM blu ray players that fit in the OEM spot?

I want to upgrade our receiver in our trailer. Right now we have a small Blu-ray player that hooks to the tv, but then I have to rely on the tv audio which isn't great. Our receiver will do dvd, but not blu ray. I see Sony had a prototype at CES last year for a double din car blu ray player.

Any ideas? Any nice units that have inputs from a blu ray player at least?
  • What receiver is in it now? I have a Jensen AWM965 and like several other people the audio jacks were hooked up to the TV's input jacks when in reality they are audio inputs on the Jensen. Switched the cables on the back of the TV to audio out and now my TV sound can come through the Jensen. Like you did I connected a Blu-ray player with a HDMI cable to the TV and now have sound either way.
  • My DVD/home theater system died several years ago. Measured the cabinet opening and depth and went to Best Buy. They had several models from several different manufacturers available, Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, and another or two. I bought a Panasonic Bluray DVD home theater system as the base unit and speakers were the closest in size to the OEM Parts. Still had to slightly enlarge the cabinet openings to get the new speakers in.
Connected the TV audio output to it so that even TV programs go thru the sound system. Sounds much better than the OEM system.j
