Looking to buying a Asus laptop,Are they a decent computer?If not what brand would be good?Thanks

I own an eeePC and a desktop.
I also have chance to tinker with several (Asus and others, mostly Acer), I can say it's the first brand I consider if I ever buy another computer.
Very balanced between price/performance/reliability.
Acer are also good but I don't trust that brand that as much as Asus.
