was planning on the front overhead cabinet
it has 120v outlet from the inverter
thats why i got the 120v converter
just plain did not think about usb 5v to 12v conversion, and using the mobley in the sleek cradle cellular amplifier
i think considering the intended mobile purpose design, for data connection, under the car dash, it might have a little better RF sensitivity and output
at least i hope so
