The one limitation of the Mobley is that you can only connect 5 devices simultaneously compared to the newer ones that allow 10. It also cannot handle the most current speed aggregation technology but it is still plenty fast and it 4G LTE. For me, neither of these "limitations" was a reason not to own one.
A router is an easy way to get past the 5 limitation mark and add Ethernet ports if needed.
I have my cradle point setup so when we get home and it sees the mobley it automatically connects to it and provides my entire home with internet including a desktop through the cradle point.
This is true. I am not a fan for 2 reasons. 1) The $300 cost of a Cradlepoint router and 2) the loss of speed created when going wifi to wifi to connection vs. a straight hop.
