A new Wi-Fi dongle should be just as fast as any built in Wi-Fi
Just get one that is not $5 on eBay
Desktop pc, you can install a Wi-Fi network card
A wired bridge router with and Ethernet port will work
Somebody mentioned and linked to an Asus model approx $70
The Mobley does not have any USB or wired ports to plug into
So any bridge is Wi-Fi to the Mobley then cable to the pc
Imo..going Wi-Fi direct to pc is the simplest way to do this
Yes the mobley has a USB port on the side under a sticker, I didn't notice it either but on the cell forum they USB tether directly to a router.
The post is by the main mobley guy, he seems to know his stuff as he and other have had mobleys on unlimited a longtime, we are late adopters.
Just checked and Mobley works perfect tethered via USB to ASUS $80 T-mobile branded router. I am actually powering the mobley off one USB and tethering to the other USB. So the ASUS router is fully powering the Mobley which is nice!
Literally just plug it in, set APN and DNS and done! All other info was already correct, as it auto detected the mobley.
Using this router
T-Mobile (AC-1900) By ASUS Wireless-AC1900 Dual-Band Gigabit Router, AiProtection with Trend Micro for Complete Network Security https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MYTAURW..._4BDZyb9YVHTJ9
Using USB power adapter, posting on how to make one in the other thread, can also be purchased on eBay.
MicroUSB cable(microUSB port on side of mobley)
Plugged both to the USB ports on back of router.
