As I said in my last post I was going to return the device after having the worst online experience in my life with ATT. Since I bought the device from Best Buy online I found out I could return the device via mail or at my local Best Buy.
I went to Best Buy and gave them a chance to set up an account (don't have any ATT account) and activate the device. The young woman had everything set up and activated in less than 30 minutes. :B
I did get the unlimited $20 plan but not sure exactly what my bill will ultimately be. There was some mention of a $10/month "line" charge. Activation cost $25.
I live in a difficult cell phone area. Verizon barely or won't work. The Mobley goes online easily. I measured over 18 Mbps down and about 4 Mbps up.
While you may pay an activation fee (AT&T said they will waive ours) there are not line fees. Your total should only be $20 plus some minor taxes. Get your AT&T account setup on line and see what plan you are on. You can call and get it changed to the correct plan. Don't pay more than the $20!!!
