I am interested in this mobile wifi as well. My current situation is with AT&T with 5GB of shared data between two iPhones. We only go over 5GB during the summer when we travel. I recently purchased a 2015 F250 that is able to connect to my phone connection and provide a wifi hotspot for my passengers. If I am understanding all of this correctly, I do not need the Mobley device since my radio is my hotspot, all I need to do is update to the unlimited plan with AT&T and connect my radio to it. Is this correct?
Correct, if you just want to use in your truck unlimited would still be $20, the mobley is just more versatile as you can use it anywhere.
I asked about simply adding the Mobley to my existing plan and the salesperson said it would be an additional $65/mo. Updating my plan to one of the unlimited plans would be $30 more than I'm currently paying.
Ya they had no idea what they were saying, the unlimited connected car plan is $20 stand-alone, you can have verizon phones, att phones or no phones at all. Its a separate plan so what phone plan you have doesn't matter.
