He went in the back for awhile and came back out and wrote a phone number on one of his cards and said that I'm probably right but they can't activate it through them (why? no clue) but to get done I should call that number. So, armed with the first good news since I began looking at the Mobley, I went ahead and ordered one. Ha! another good story here, AT&T has none, they don't show up on Best Buy any more either but after looking in Denton, TX. this past weekend, I knew there was ONE in the Frisco, TX. store so it is being transferred (I hope) to my Best Buy here. Then I guess I'll call that number and see what happens. If I still can't get the $20 a month deal...I will have 14 days to return the Mobley. Wish me luck.
don't worry about the "line".....I got a AT&T phone number now that I have the service, just make sure it's the 'Connected Car Unlimited Data Plan' for $20 dollars a month.
