I've seen a few reports of folks using the USB port to tether a Mobley to a few specific routers, but I don't recall which routers they used. The Mobley still needs to be powered through the OBD2 connection. I tried USB tethering our Mobley to our Pepwave Surf Mini OTG router, but while the Pepwave did recognize the Mobley as an AT&T device, it could not get an Internet connection. I haven't tried it with our Cradlepoint MBR95 router yet. Both will connect to the Mobley via WiFi as WAN of course.
USB port? Is there a Mobley with a USB port now available? Mine doesn't have one.
